Yes. An external laboratory has tested OPACKGROUP’s films using the TOF method. The values remain below 30 ppm, well below the 50 ppm limit.

Three limits apply: 25 ppb for PFAS (targeted analysis, excluding PFAS in solid polymeric form), 250 ppb for the sum of all PFAS and 50 ppm for PFAS including PFAS in polymeric form. OPACKGROUP’s films remain below 30 ppm.

The PFAS requirements of the PPWR apply from 12 August 2026. They are set out in Article 5 of the regulation. From that date, packaging containing too much PFAS may no longer be placed on the market.
